Understanding 6-DOF simulators
Physically, a 6-DOF simulator typically consists of a motion platform mounted on actuators, that precisely control the platform’s position and orientation. Sophisticated software interfaces with the actuators to interpret user inputs or pre-programmed scenarios, creating lifelike forces and movements.
This range of motion closely mimics the freedom experienced by vehicles in real-world environments.
​6-DOF stands for “six degrees of freedom,” referencing a system’s ability to move in three-dimensional space along six distinct axes:

The simulator requires a display device which could be a head mounted display (VR) or monitor. An extra monitor beside the simulator is recommended to make configurations. Displays are not included.
PC
For the simulator you need a Windows 10 or 11 PC which is capable of driving your entire setup. A PC is not included.
